Easter Sunday, the cross is next to our Eco Tree and it has blossom – and eggs!
Well, not really a palm tree but this is how the tree looked on Palm Sunday.
It is growing fast…..large branches have formed within a week……and the tree soaks up our recycling waste………what will happen this week? Did you spot the owl in it’s nest?
During Family Time in Lent Sunday Services, Mark and the young people from Junior Church have been sharing Eco Tree with us. Lovingly planted during the first week, the bright green seed was put into a bucket of compost and watered well. Within a week, it had sprung to life…..
Who would have thought it, several people here at City URC would like to keep bees? Now, we might have the opportunity and working to achieve Eco-congregation status has given us the incentive to investigate the possibilities.
