What’s on at City URC May 2024

No Mow May
No Mow May is an annual campaign, started a few years ago, to encourage us not to cut our lawns to let the wildflowers grow during the month of May. Since the 1930s, we have lost 97% of our wild meadows – a vital food source for our butterflies, moths and bees – so, by letting the grass grow a little longer in our gardens during the last four weeks of Spring we will encourage pollinators and other small creatures to flourish on the extra food made available.
